This listing is for a lovely Carder Era Steuben clear Art Glass creamer with cranberry glass reeding on upper body, c. 1920’s. This nice creamer was made during the Frederick Carder Era at Steuben during which their most sought after original Art Glass designs were created. Carder is considered one of the icons of American Art Glass. At Steuben, when the threads were hand applied in an irregular fashion by the gaffer, the decoration was called reeded. Creamer is marked in the center of the base with Steuben block letters. The block letter signature was used over the whole Carder era from 1903 until 1933.
